Simons Foundation Travel Award for MoLA 2026

Thanks to generous support from the Simons Foundation International, we are pleased to offer a limited number of travel awards to help defray the costs of attending MoLA 2026, which will take place in Atlanta, Georgia. These awards aim to broaden the community of scientists at the conference and support researchers with a range of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.

We encourage applications from students, postdocs, early career researchers, and others (US-based and international) who are interested in attending MoLA 2026.

Note: applicants are not required to have submitted an abstract in order to apply for a travel award. Travel awards can be used to cover transportation, lodging, registration fees, and meals. Specific amounts depend on the awardee’s location (domestic vs. international). In previous years, this award covered $1,000 for domestic travel and $1,500 for international travel. We anticipate similar awards this year. For more information on allowable expenses, please see: https://finance.duke.edu/travel/reimbursement/
